Shipping policy

Unless otherwise specified, jewelry that is made-to-order can take up to 12 business days for us to make. When your item is finished I will ship it immediately and provide you with the tracking information. Since a signature is required for all parcel deliveries, if you know you won’t be home when the parcel carrier attempts delivery consider having us send your parcel to a friend or relative who will be. If you have any questions regarding shipping please contact us. Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. Items are shipped according to their value as follows:

SHIPMENTS TO THE USA:

  • Items up to US$1000 are sent via USPS PRIORITY (delivery standard 3 to 5 business days*, package tracking included, signature required). If no one is home to accept delivery, USPS will leave a note with the location of a nearby postal outlet where your parcel can be picked up.
  • Items US$1000 to US$2000 are sent via FEDEX INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY (delivery standard 2 business days*, package tracking included, signature required). If no one is home to accept delivery, FEDEX will leave an attempted delivery notification with information on when they will attempt re-delivery or where your parcel can be picked up.
  • Items over US$2000 are sent via FEDEX PRIORITY (1 business day, package tracking included, signature required). If no one is home to accept delivery, FEDEX will leave an attempted delivery notification with information on when they will attempt re-delivery or where your parcel can be picked up.

SHIPMENTS WITHIN CANADA:

  • Items up to US$1000 are sent via XPRESSPOST CANADA (delivery standard 3 – 4 business days*, package tracking included, signature required). If no one is home to accept delivery, Canada Post will leave a note with the location of a nearby postal outlet where your parcel can be picked up.
  • Items US$1000 to US$2000 are sent via FEDEX ECONOMY (delivery standard 2 business days*, package tracking included, signature required). If no one is home to accept delivery, FEDEX will leave an attempted delivery notification with information on when they will attempt re-delivery or where your parcel can be picked up.
  • Items over US$2000 are sent via FEDEX PRIORITY (1 business day, package tracking included, signature required). If no one is home to accept delivery, FEDEX will leave an attempted delivery notification with information on when they will attempt re-delivery or where your parcel can be picked up.

 * Delivery standards are offered as guides but actual delivery times can take longer if the delivery address is outside of a major centre or if there are delays in customs or unforeseen weather delays.

If no one is at the recipient’s address to sign for the parcel when FEDEX attempts delivery, FEDEX will not hold a parcel for pick-up at their facility for longer than 5 business days. If it hasn’t been picked up after 5 days they will return it to the sender.
Shipments to the USA valued at less than $800 are not subject to duties and customs charges.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:  Items are sent through the postal system via a service offered by Canada Post called Tracked Packet International. Delivery times are typically 4 to 10 business days, package tracking is included.

Note: The delivery time depends upon the destination country. Actual delivery times can take longer if there are delays in customs and/or the delivery address is outside of a major centre.
